The Guatemalan Mission was founded by Pastor John Collins of Lakeland, FL., He remains active in the efforts today. Over the years, many short-term missionaries have traveled and helped build buildings, and assist in other ways to ensure that the Guatemalan children have a good school to attend. Today, the school is one of the best in the area, and over 175 elementary school children now have a place to learn and find the help and love that they deserve. Today, several congregations of Christians are throughout the area. This is all a result the hard work of Pastor Collins and others who have helped over the years. WMA Missions is glad to be able to help in this effort as the means are available.
